Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 25, 2026.
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Amazing Peru Travel website and the booking of tours, packages, transfers and travel experiences in Peru. By requesting a quote, confirming a reservation or using our services, you agree to these terms and to the specific conditions stated in your written quote, invoice or booking confirmation.
1. Who we are
Amazing Peru Travel provides curated travel experiences in Peru, including destinations such as Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Puerto Maldonado and Tambopata. Some services may be operated directly by us and others may be delivered with trusted local partners such as guides, lodges, transport providers, train operators, ticketing platforms and accommodation providers.
2. Scope of our services
Our services may include itinerary planning, reservations, tour coordination, entrance tickets, ground transportation, guided visits, accommodation, meals and travel assistance, depending on the product purchased.
- Each tour page, quote or confirmation will state what is included and what is not included.
- International or domestic flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips and optional activities are not included unless expressly stated.
- Photos, descriptions and durations are provided for guidance and may vary due to weather, traffic, operational conditions or safety requirements.
3. Quotes and reservations
A booking is considered confirmed only when we have received the required payment and issued a written confirmation. Before confirming, the traveler must review names, travel dates, passport or ID details, itinerary, pickup points, hotel information and service inclusions.
If a service requires official tickets or permits, availability is not guaranteed until those tickets or permits are issued by the relevant provider or authority.
4. Prices and payments
Prices are valid for the period stated in the quote and may be expressed in US dollars, Peruvian soles or another agreed currency. Prices may change when third-party costs change before confirmation, including entrance tickets, train services, lodges, transport, taxes or exchange rates.
- Reservations may require a deposit, partial payment or full prepayment depending on the itinerary and travel date.
- Any bank fees, payment processor fees or currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the traveler unless stated otherwise.
- Failure to pay the balance by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and loss of amounts that are non-refundable under supplier conditions.
5. Traveler changes
Requests to change names, dates, pickup locations, hotels, number of travelers or services must be sent in writing. We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but they are subject to availability, supplier rules and any additional costs.
Some tickets, permits and reservations are personal, date-specific or non-transferable. When this applies, changes may not be possible after purchase.
6. Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
The cancellation policy applicable to each booking will be stated in the quote, invoice or confirmation. Conditions may differ by tour, season, lodge, train, entrance ticket, accommodation or third-party provider.
- Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to our official email or WhatsApp channel.
- Amounts already paid to third-party providers may be non-refundable once tickets, permits, accommodation, transport or logistics have been issued.
- No-shows, late arrivals or missed services caused by the traveler may be treated as used services and may not be refundable.
- Approved refunds are normally processed through the original payment method, less applicable banking or processing fees when relevant.
7. Changes due to safety, weather or force majeure
Peru includes high-altitude routes, jungle areas, mountain roads, archaeological sites and protected natural areas. For safety or operational reasons, Amazing Peru Travel may adjust departure times, routes, transportation, hotels, activities or the order of an itinerary.
We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, strikes, road closures, government restrictions, health emergencies, civil unrest, flight or train delays, site closures or decisions made by public authorities. In these cases, we will seek the safest and most practical alternative available.
8. Traveler responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for providing accurate information, arriving on time, following guide instructions and complying with local rules at archaeological sites, protected areas, lodges and transport services.
- Travelers must carry valid passports or identification documents required for tickets and hotel registration.
- Travelers must inform us before booking about relevant medical conditions, allergies, mobility limitations, dietary requirements or altitude sensitivity.
- Minors must travel with a responsible adult and must comply with documentation required by authorities or transport providers.
9. Health, altitude and travel insurance
Some experiences involve altitude, walking, stairs, boat rides, jungle conditions, heat, humidity or uneven terrain. Travelers should evaluate their physical condition and consult a doctor when necessary before booking.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, accidents, trip interruption, cancellation, lost baggage and emergency evacuation.
10. Third-party providers
Where services are provided by third parties, their own rules may also apply. This includes rail operators, airlines, hotels, lodges, transport companies, payment processors, official ticketing systems and local authorities. We select providers with care, but we cannot control all decisions or operational changes made by them.
11. Responsible travel
Travelers must respect local communities, wildlife, cultural heritage and environmental regulations. Removing archaeological objects, disturbing wildlife, littering, entering restricted areas or ignoring safety instructions may result in exclusion from an activity without refund.
12. Website content and intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, design, itineraries, images, logos and commercial materials, belongs to Amazing Peru Travel or is used under authorization. It may not be copied, republished or used commercially without prior written permission.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Amazing Peru Travel is not liable for indirect losses, missed connections, personal expenses, loss of enjoyment or damages caused by the traveler, third parties or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Peruvian consumer protection law.
14. Consumer information and complaints
We aim to provide clear and timely information about prices, inclusions, restrictions and booking conditions, in line with Peru's consumer protection framework. If you are not satisfied with a service, contact us as soon as possible so we can review the case and propose a practical solution.
